Learning Guide for Summer Learning Conference 2020 Summer Learning Conference Program Overview 2019 CASS/ASBOA Summer Learning Conference Highlights
Focused on building CASS and ASBOA members’ professional capacity through the lens of learning with and from one another, the CASS/ASBOA summer conference will move online this year!
The summer conference is planned for school authority teams with a focus on learning and networking with colleagues from their zone and across the province. Through short informational presentations and large group, panel and peer-to-peer discussions, the content focus will be re-entry, and workplace wellness with outcomes related to systems improvement and community assurance. Teams in attendance will take away strategies for engaging and working with their team, as well as processes that address emerging opportunities.
CASS Learning Guides focused on supporting re-entry are suitable for your pre learning prior to the summer conference or for your system leadership team following the summer conference morning program.
CASS Learning Guides are intended to apply research, deepen understanding and enhance professional practice within the Alberta context. Online learning guides offer a summary of the learning, resource access and an edited copy of the session recording. Reflective questions are provided focusing on application of the learning, specifically with your system leadership team.
A tool to reflect on your re-entry plan. Based on a Guide to Support Implementation: Essential Conditions this tool is intended as a planning document to review how components of your plan are coherent with your school authority goals, include outcomes and measures so that you can plan for knowing how strategies are having the intended impact you planned for.
